Génesis Luigi
Ms. Génesis Luigi studies Psychology at the Central University of Venezuela, where she conducts research on sexuality and intellectual disability. She has been passionate about sexual and reproductive health since high school. As a result of her experience with conservative and incomplete sex education, Génesis started volunteering at PLAFAM with the intention of making a difference in how sexuality is addressed at schools, communities and peer groups. She also started a project called “La Pastilla” —the pill—, a videoblog focused on sexuality and gender issues, where she discusses topics she would have liked to learn about in her high school sex-ed classes. Génesis is a Youth Member on the PLAFAM General Assembly and the current IPPF/WHR Youth Network Coordinator
