An experienced advocate, Geoff Adlide has orchestrated and contributed to political campaigns and fundraising efforts in a variety settings, including lobbying for legislation in the Australian National Parliament and fundraising and policy advocacy campaigns for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. He has experience in building and orchestrating networks of influence including using high level champions and grassroots community advocates.
As Director of Advocacy and Public Policy at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance – a position he held since 2007 – he has helped build GAVI’s reputation and position the Alliance as a leading global health and development player. In his earlier career he has coordinated advocacy campaigns for Aboriginal Land Rights and led public affairs work for aid agencies. He started his career in broadcast journalism in his home country, Australia.
