Kalyani Subramanyam
Kalyani Subramanyam is the Program Director at The Naz Foundation India Trust. With a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management; she has 20 years of experience of working on issues of HIV and Sexuality.
As a strong advocate for women’s rights, she has been responsible for the development of the ‘Goal’ program: a Women’s Empowerment initiative, which uses sport and life skills education to transform the lives of young disadvantaged girls and young women. Goal has reached out to more than 26,000 girls across the country.
Kalyani has also been actively involved in building the capacities of CBOs to implement Sport Based Programs in India and overseas. She is a Vital Voices Lead Fellow and an alumni of the Dasra Leadership program.
