Lauren Moore

laurenheadshotsmallLauren Moore joined Johnson & Johnson in October, 2015, in the global role of Vice President, Corporate Citizenship. Lauren is responsible for driving strategy development and implementation of the company’s Corporate Citizenship and strategic philanthropy. Lauren also oversees the J&J Patient Assistance Foundation and the Johnson & Johnson Corporate Citizenship Trust.
Lauren comes to Johnson & Johnson with a very strong track record of leading social responsibility strategies that yield positive business, social and environmental impact. Most recently, Lauren led the development and implementation of eBay Inc.’s first social innovation strategy focused on creating economic opportunity, powering charitable giving and enabling greener commerce. As the Head of Global Social Innovation, Lauren guided her team’s efforts to bring this vision to life around the world, partnering with employees, customers, retail partners and other stakeholders to help eBay Inc. achieve both positive business performance and lasting social impact. Lauren joined eBay Inc. in 2009 as the President of eBay Foundation.
Prior to joining eBay Inc., Lauren served eight years as Director of Giving for Starbucks Coffee Company and Executive Director of Starbucks Foundation, with responsibility for Starbucks philanthropic and community initiatives worldwide. She helped build the first Corporate Social Responsibility team at Starbucks and was part of the leadership team that produced the first Starbucks Corporate Social Responsibility Report, including public goals, in 2001. Prior to her work at Starbucks, Lauren held leadership roles in several nonprofit organizations.
Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She has served on a number of nonprofit boards of directors, community commissions and advisory panels. Currently, Lauren is a member of Aspen Institute’s Business & Society Leaders Forum, Cornerstone Capital’s Global Advisory Council, GOOD Worldwide Inc.’s GOODcorps Lab and Council on Foundations.
