Dr. Linnea Zimmerman is an Assistant Scientist in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has provided technical assistance and been a part of the leadership of PMA2020 since its inception, assisting with the development of questionnaires and training materials, training of field staff, and overseeing data quality assurance, monitoring, and analysis efforts across all countries. Dr. Zimmerman is also a co-investigator for the new PMA Maternal and Neonatal Health project and provides technical assistance to the Global Early Adolescent Study. In addition to family planning and monitoring and evaluation, she is interested in the intersection of reproductive health and humanitarian emergencies. She has an MPH from Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health and a PhD from Johns Hopkins.
