Lucinda O’Hanlon

Lucinda O’Hanlon is an Adviser on Women’s Rights at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. A US trained human rights lawyer, she has been working with the UN since 2004 on a wide variety of issues including women’s human rights, sexual orientation and gender identity, economic, social and cultural rights, and the rights to water and sanitation. Since 2011, she has been focused especially on sexual and reproductive health and rights, leading the work of the Office on maternal mortality and morbidity as a human rights issue.
