Marcela Ballara is a member of Red De Educacion Popular entre Mujeres and Advisor to the Executive Committee and the Coordinator since 2010. Her work with women and feminists civil society organizations began in the early 70s advocating and lobbying to supporting women’s human rights in several situations such as education, migration environment. Her work has focus in the Latin-American and African region and also around the world . Marcela has work in the United Nations and several other bilateral organizations as a project manager, program planner and researcher.
