Rita Badiani
Ms. Rita Badiani has a Masters Degree in Population Studies and over 25 years of professional experience in program management and development related to international health, primarily reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and population studies. The geographic breadth of her experience includes over 10 years in Mozambique; 7 years in Nigeria, Ghana and Tanzania and 11 years in Brazil. Currently serving as Country Representative for Pathfinder International in Mozambique, Ms. Badiani is responsible for managing a diversified portfolio that includes 11 projects with support from USAID, CDC, FLANDERS, Norway and private donors. Advancing the sexual reproductive health and rights of women, men and youth is a primary technical focus. Ms. Badiani has significant experience in and provides leadership that emphasizes family planning, HIV prevention, behavior change, programmatic integration opportunities and reinforces sustainable outcomes that are adopted by the Mozambican government such as the internationally respected Geracao Biz Program, a national program for youth around sexual and reproductive health.
