Robin Gorna
Robin Gorna is the Executive Director, for the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH). She is an advocate and strategist with a strong track record for leading effective action on sexual & reproductive health and rights, with a focus on the health of women, adolescents and children since the 1980s. In 2003 she established the Global AIDS Policy Team for the UK Government’s Department for International Development, in the headquarters’ Policy division. She then served as DFID’s Senior Health and AIDS Adviser in Southern Africa, where she was responsible for maternal and child health programmes in Angola, worked closely with the government of South Africa, and oversaw programmes in Lesotho as well as across the Southern African Development Community. . She joined PMNCH from ASAP (AIDS Strategy, Advocacy and Policy), the community-based consultancy which she founded in October 2010.
