Shannon Bledsoe
Shannon Bledsoe has over 15 years of experience designing, implementing and managing maternal and reproductive health programs worldwide. She is skilled in using research methods and tools to evaluate product and service accessibility and barriers to use, and in developing evidence-based programmatic strategies to improve coverage and uptake. Shannon is currently the VP for Programs at Womancare Global (WCG), overseeing initiatives to increase access to reproductive health products and services for women. Prior to joining WCG, Shannon worked to introduce essential medicines for maternal health into low-resource settings in Africa and Asia, and led social marketing programs in HIV, family planning, and child and maternal health. Shannon spent seven years living and working in Cameroon and Haiti. She holds a Masters in Gender and International Development from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, San Diego.
