Silvia Huaynoca

Silvia copySilvia Huaynoca is responsible for implementing a strategy to increase young people’s access to sexual and reproductive health information and youth-friendly services, as well as support youth participation in program development and governance at our Member Associations.

Silvia has worked as a consultant at the World Health Organization (WHO) Reproductive Health Research Department, with whom she authored journal articles on the reach of comprehensive sexuality education and youth friendly health services. Prior to this, Silvia interned at Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH) VP Corporate Services in Seattle and was a Health Facilitator with Save the Children in Bolivia.

Silvia holds an MD from the Universidad Mayor de San Andres and a Master of Public Health and a graduate certificate in Global Health of Women, Adolescent and Children from the University of Washington.
