Müller is President and Chief Executive Officer of EngenderHealth, a leading global women’s health organization committed to ensuring that every pregnancy is planned, every child is wanted, and every mother has the best chance at survival. Active in nearly 20 countries around the world, EngenderHealth trains health care professionals and partners with governments and communities to make high-quality family planning and sexual and reproductive health services available—today and for generations to come.

As a lifelong advocate for the rights of women and girls, Ms. Müller is a thought leader in human rights, poverty alleviation, and women’s sexual and reproductive health. She has a demonstrated track record of achieving mission-driven successes and evolving in the ever-changing international nonprofit environment. Ms. Muller has held senior-level positions at bilateral, multilateral, and civil society organizations, founded her own business, and most recently led the Southern Africa region for Marie Stopes International (MSI). In her various roles, she implemented strategies to create support for and deliver increased access to sexual and reproductive health services, instituted innovative funding and collaboration models with diverse donors and partners, reinvigorated country collaboration and regional learning, and transformed organizational structures to increase impact.

Ms. Muller has lived and worked in Africa for more than 20 years and regularly contributes to print and online publications and participates in professional, academic, and policy forums. She has received advanced degrees in international human rights and democracy and in economics and business administration.
